Disgusting

Im at a 4 1/2 star hotel (Intercontinental in San Francisco) and I have to download an app and need to pay .99 to have a program guide for my TV? Are you kidding me? Someone needs to explain the meaning of service to the hotels that offer this garbage to their guests.

Works.

Works okay at the Westin in Ottawa. Pairs quickly and is much better than the TV remote for finding channels. Charging for the program guide is disappointing.

Works great!

This is a handy app. I just used it at the OMNI in Montreal with no issue. It turns the TV on and off and changes the channel and volume as expected. It works through the Internet so the person saying they were standing closer to the TV to make it work doesnt do anything. I didnt buy the guide but I dont think its unreasonable to have to. If you travel often its a small price to pay to always have a current guide listing. The best part of this app is using it to mess with the housekeeping when they are in your room and you are in the hall!

Not bad, but not great

Seems to work decent in my hotel in Sherwood Park. I bought the upgrade so I could see a guide. The guide is only correct on 1/3 of the channels. Much better than the remote for the tv that is supplied.

Useless app

Doesnt work at all. No mobile option available on our hotel tv. Deleting app

I love the app but not many hotels accommodate it

I love this app, but many hotels even if they have lodgenet operating system, the softwear is usually to old to use this app!

Do not buy guide

A great app in general as long as you dont buy the in app guide. As soon as I bought it all the channels got shuffled and didnt correspond to the ones on the tv. However it could still be used as a simple TV guide not worth .99$ though!

Change

Why do people always think change is good just for its own sake? Updated version has moved volume control from main channel screen to secondary screen. Moving screens to change to volume is a real pain. How could anyone think that was a good idea? Please move it back.

Great app!

Easy to use, cool concept. I hope stay connect will make a home version in the future

Piece of garbage app that crashes when you try to use it

Doesnt work

Canadian, eh?

Guide might be ok for U. S. But not for Canada

Costs $$$ if you want a schedule

Lame Lame Lame: Hotel - the Westin Halifax - TV doesnt provide a schedule on-screen. Hoped phone remote would provide a schedule but instead it is an app that has less functionality than the remote plus you have to do the in-app purchase to get a schedule. Supposedly classy hotel with a pathetic nickel & dime money grab. Not amused.

Great tool with more potential

This is a great app, I can select my TV show from the elevator before I make it to my room. 2 new features that I would like: 1) Alarm option to start the TV at a specific channel at X time. 2) option to preselect the next TV show for the next few hours.

Error

This app does not work and when we called the helpline, it was explained that the ip address used by the hotel has changed.

Great idea, only fair in actual usability.

I love not having to touch disgusting hotel remotes. I love having a guide. But, Ive been using this for 1 hour and half the program listings Ive clicked are wrong, or listed as TBA.

Works great!!

Not sure why everyone else is bellyaching about this app. Performance (loading, responsiveness, etc.) all work great! Best hotel control app Ive used and I travel for work 60% of the time.

Guide quit working

The functions for turning the TV on and volume worked. The in-app purchase of the guide worked a few times and then just quit working. When I clicked on it, the Apple "wait" wheel just keep spinning and never would show the quide. I tried serveral things such as shutting down and restarting the phone to no avail. The app is useless if the guide doesnt work reliably.

Fantastic

Simple and very intuitive. I hope they keep it like this rather than make it more complicated

Deceptive

Description claims to allow you to view mobile content on hotel tv. But no, it only allows you to view extremely pricy proprietary content. Really, just a glorified, fully handcuffed remote, offering no more content than already on hotel system.

Not bad

Itd be great if you could see whats on each channel on the channe guide and also full remote capacity, (sleep, mute button, jump back buttons, etc...)
