Complete bait and switch

I suggest that you not download this app. It does not allow you to play your content to the TV as advertised. It only gives you channel info and allows you to rebuy all of your stuff on their crap network solution (and I am sure track more of your personal data and activities for their profit) Complete bait and switch. Poor form Hilton Hotel

If youre missing the hotel channel guide card

Doesnt give you a program guide, but instead links you to install another app that costs a buck. Volume control is coarse and unusable. Does not have channel up down buttons and you cant get the channel selector and volume control onto one convenient screen. So overall, much worse than using the hotel remote. If your hotel didnt supply a channel guide, at least you get to see them as a list here.

Very misleading

You cant connect your device to watch a movie on the screen...you Can watch tv shows on your phone albeit slowly.

Useless app in its current form. Hotels that actually take advantage of this app are few.

Worthless really

Novelty app. All you can do is see channel listing. You can change channels, turn on off tv, and rent movies for way too much cash. Not worth the install. Try again Hilton. $250 a night and charge $20 for a movie? Right.

Does not work as advertised

This app does not work with my Samsung TV. A waste of money.

No worky

I was able to connect to the TV and use my phone to change channels but could not cast anything to the TV. Spent over an hour on the phone with technical support and they had no idea why my TV wouldnt work. What a waste.

Worked fine for Chromecast @ Hyatt Regency

Just wanted to cast from YouTube app to TV in our room at the Hyatt Regency SF. Worked great, nice HD quality with no dropouts. Probably not 5 stars since setup was kind of a pain, but giving 5 stars anyway to offset the low star rating - almost didnt even give it a try based on the poor reviews.

Worthless

I had to call their customer service to find out the hotel Im staying in "doesnt have this service" even though they have LodgeNet. Pointless.

Useless + privacy issues

All you get is a channel lineup (which comes in the hotel room anyhow) unless you make an in-app purchase for the actual program guide. Plus you have to create an account, giving your personal info to this company for (Im sure) spam purposes. No thanks. Deleted.

Easy to use

Much easier to use than the hotel’s remote. TV program guide a plus.

click on tv channels and click on program guide. register and no program guide. only email promotions. lol i can change channels with remote. i want to see what is playing. $15.99 to watch a movie? better to pay $8 and watch netflix for an entire month on your phone.

Very useful, but portrait-only is annoying

The first thing I do in any hotel room is check for mobile access availability, and its a bummer when its not offered. So I do dig this service. However, my iPad is locked in landscape mode, and this is one of the only apps I have to rotate my device for. Its a mild inconvenience, but it means Im mildly annoyed every time I launch the app. It strikes me as unforgivably lazy on the part of the developers.

Wear glasses? then this is much better than hotel remote...

I was apprehensive but this thing works... at least for me (middle aged business traveller with glasses) - With this I can control the TV without turning the lights on to see the buttons on the remote. - Much easier to use... than navigating the on-screen menus on TV while on bed...and dont need to search for those "exit" or "back" buttons on the TV remotes. I havent yet used room checkout from this app... will try end of this stay and update.

Nice, simple app

Nice app. Like that I can get a guide and tune the TV without searching for remote buttons in the dark. Worked perfectly when I used it back in March 2014. Used it on my most recent trip in June 2014 and all the programming is wrong. Seems like the guide is an hour or two behind. Fixing that would make it 5 stars.
