Waste of time

Really annoying - tries to sell subscriptions!

Unavailable

Wasnt working in a downtown Calgary hotel that had Lodgenet, either.

Awesome app

Controlled the TV perfectly. The less I have to touch the in-house remote, the better.

Features are useless

You can only control power on off an volume; there is no mute, channel up/down, cc, etc. this is useless and drains your battery; overhyped for Nothing, does NOT function or look anything like a remote control, AVOID.

Works great"

I thought it might be nice to use my iPad to control the tv as the remotes gross me out a little, and I find them painfully slow. This app works great as advertised and is lightning quick.

Program guide must be purchased

If Id known that I wouldnt have bothered downloading.

Works as promised. But could be better!

Works as promised, but would be nice to have an optional interface that actually looks/works like a TV remote, with channel & volume up and down buttons. Volume control is a slider, and the channels are a scrolling list that you select from. A little slower to react than the regular remote. You have to buy the channel guide. 99 cents for the whole year, but you can use it on up to 5 devices.

Doesnt work

Tried to connect app to 6 different TVs, none worked.

Works fine

I like that its more reliable that most of the room remotes I run into, even if theres a little lag between pushing the button on the phone and the TV changing. The interface is fine, and I like the list of channels so I can see where the networks are in the city Im in. My biggest pet peeve is that even though I paid for the guide, theres still ads in there. If I pay for something, I would expect there to be no ads. It should also be able to scan the barcode displayed by the TV in addition to being able to type in the number.

Dont waste your time!

Not worth the electrons on the down load. Doesnt work at all

It just doesnt work

What ticks me off is when you get suckered into downloading apps that just dont fully work. This is one of them. I dont know how many times I have to say it "dont build it if youre not going to test it!"

Works well...

Instant connection and easy to use. Not sure why others have had difficulty. Very creative. I planned my movie entertainment while in a cab from my meeting.

This works perfectly

The TV integration is awesome. You get a channel guide - so no more guessing what your favourite channels are in each city. I travel in Quebec a lot and Im always searching for the English channels - no more! Super easy.

Works great

Dont know what people are complaining about. No channel +/- but you get a list of all channels and you can just click on where u want to go. Also volume slider can essentially go from 0-100 so wheres the problem? Works great for me! Well done.

Did not work

Does not work at Hyatt Regency Toronto.

Crap

Couldnt do a thing with mine. Only showed 8 channels. Wouldnt show me the channel listings unless I upgraded for $$. Foolish. Deleted it after 3 minutes (created the mandatory account for nothing). Why make people use a password?

When it works...

When it works its great. When it doesnt there is no explanation. It doesnt just vary hotel to hotel. It can vary stay to stay. Lodgenet support says its the hotel and hours later the hotels have no idea. Would be a 5 if it was consistent

Does not work

Click on the channel does not do anything. Stand 2 inches from TV. Does not do anything. Useless at this hotel.

Works as advertised… mostly

Works as advertised… though the concept is so simple Id be shocked to see them screw it up. Volume control is very temperamental. It sure would be nice if the app saved my login credentials. Its a pain to re-enter them every time I want more listings.

Deceptive

It has a button that said something like "new program guide" with absolutely no indication that it is an in-app purchase of $0.99.
